Breaking Eggs to Make an Omelette (ELITE) - YouTube Video

Hey Guys,

A lot of people were saying it's impossible to do this quest elite solo at the moment, so I just thought I'd upload a full vid of me doing it. Now obviously I make a lot of mistakes like letting a lot of workers die and letting the first lot of rams go free for all on my buildings, but that just shows it's not that hard with some concentration. I'll make a smoother run in one video later today, this is just the first time I've used YouTube is all, but I'll have a sped up run with background music or watever.

Now all you need to do is this:

- Upgrade to Age II

- 2 Workers on stones, 4 on wood

- Upgrade to Age III and get all 6 workers to make the market then go back to mineral patches.

- On Age III make infinity workers and get all workers to help make Fortresses

- Get 40% trade upgrade from market ASAP

- Only once 40% trade upgrade is done (around 2nd castle), then trade for more wood/stone for 2 more castles

- You should have 3-4 castles on first attack (build 4th castle a bit out of way of southern position so they dont atk workers building)

- Exhaust northern and north easterly stone patches, then go for gold (with workers on wood at the same time)

- Attack RAMS first and foremost, focus them down with ur forts (I hotkey mine to 2) and then focus down rangers one by one so workers can repair while melee either attack the front or run around

- Only call back to town center when in danger of getting attacked, you can call back and then throw them to a diff patch that has no enemies

- I use the following advisors: 15% faster buildings (and 15% cheaper), walls cost 60% less(for small gaps) and forts cost 50% less(and more health)

- The tech tree I use is full market, full economy(besides farm), full fort, full tower, full wall, in that order if ur a low lvl player

- I'm level 35, but I did it at 33 with almost no castles dying, trick is to focus rams asap and just as important, dont let villagers die

|||3:00 minute epic rush. Nice work!|||This build is pretty solid. I have a similar one I do. I actually think doing this in COOP, you may be able to annihilate the computer AI through fort pushing.

actually it may because the cost of building a market and upgrading it is not necessary when you can focus using your wood on building more firepower(fortresses)
