- Team GPG|||In Show Our Power, each wave comes out way too slow. I had about 100 pop and was just sitting there waiting for the next wave to pop out. It wasn't very fun.

My thoughts as a first time player (got my Key in March but could't actually find time to play till now):
'We found them' is extremely easy. You get 8 Hetaira (sp?) at the start which are strong enough to kill everything on the map in 5 minutes on their own, including treasure guardians. And I didn't even lose a single one of them in the process. You don't actually need to build anything else. I'd suggest lowering the number of Hetairas to 4/5 or so or starting with a different unit type.
In 'Show our Power' the timer doesn't update properly. At the beginning it's 6:00 till the first wave but after the first wave it stays stuck on 0:00 so there's no indication when the other two waves arrive. They did arrive some ~3 or so minutes later so it's not a problem of them not spawning, there's just no indication of when they do.
I was surprised that I managed to beat the 5 min farm quest (Final Farm Down?) in my first try (with like 3 seconds left). Challenging but doable.
Show of Support is much quicker to beat!Collecting treasures on the old quest map was a hassle, taking way too much time.
We Found Them - Is this quest supposed to be super easy with 8 Hetairoi? I finished it in 3-4 minutes tops.
Homer Run - Too many resources on the map. Computerenemy spits out a crazy amount of units.
Side note: I'll be honest that I am missing some of the low level equipment loot drops from quests. I would like to see some more gear mixed in with the materials.
Clitus Attacks - Quest complete music plays after killing Clitus before timer reaches zero. Quest complete music restarts after timer reaches zero.
Show Our Power - Definitely showcases GPG large scale battles in a good way. Oh, and nice random spawning of a Hippikon near my town center. ![]()
Draw Them Out, Reclaiming the Throne - May find it odd, but I like how treasures on these maps are hidden down pathways and behind enemy gates at the edge of the map. Reclaiming the Throne seemed to have a very small number of enemy units (after the first big wave) on defense. I was expecting Mycenae to be well defended. Maybe I took out the 4 military buildings too early. ![]()
Homer Run seems like it needs work...tweaking somehow.
It's on a MASSIVELY resourced map, and you have like 6 allies...but those allies just sit there and get killed by a massive, massive horde. Either ditch some allies or make them be more than meat shields, maybe.
We Found Them: This was way to easy. I didn't pay attention to this thread to notice that it was pointed out and i started raiding and it was so easy to just keep going that i walked right through the enemy. Maybe less starting troops or just remove the cav unit all together. That raiding party would be good for a quest that is much like egypts quest where you need to kill 25 (?) villagers in like 10 min type quest. but in this quest they are just too strong.
|||I agree, Homer Run needs a little work. Too many resources. And the allies are pretty much useless besides being meat shields from the bandits hordes, but the quest itself said that they would not do anything to help. Also, I feel the loot drops contain too much materials and not enough equipment. My starting storage house is full of the materials and I was lucky enough to find someone to buy 200 pine planks from to build another storage unit.|||
When I played Homer run, I surrounded his base early and he couldn't get out. The other allies didn't play any part at all. Seemed a waste. Would have been more of a challenge if I had to help out the allies or something. I think if a map that big is in the quest it would be a good challenge for micromanagement. Perhaps step up the AI a bit?
On a similar note, most of the quests are a bit too easy. The only one I had trouble with thus far was the last farming quest (Farmania I think its called). I failed that quest about 4 times and only by about 2-5 seconds so it was actually the most enjoyable so far because it provided a bit of a challenge. Im now level 13 so this is in reference to all of the level 1-10 quests.
On the quest "Reclaiming the Throne"...I'm playing it at level 11 (maybe 12), so I might be a tad behind the "target" levels, but it's listed in this thread...
One of the rewards is a rare belly bow, used by gastros. A unit that can't be unlocked until level 20. Can that reward be removed/swapped to be something that someone doesn't need to hang on to for 10 levels to use?
Misspelling on a reminder:
"Reminder: Challenge Quests
Remember, you aren't required to do every quest. If one is too tough, you can always try it lagain later."

I did that too. Offense is the best defense, right? :pThough I agree that the allies weren't actually needed.Might edit in more feedback later. :)EDIT: Forum messes up when quoting like this^, might want to fix that. Paragraphs aren't paragraphs anymore. :c|||Challenge: Kill The Docks. I think you have WAY to little time to complete this quest. I have tried 4 times, and I have not even come close to complete it. The closest i got was destroying half of the first dock. I think the timelimit should be at least 30 minuttes.|||I feel that "Reclaiming the Throne" was too easy. While the beginning attack took be by surprise, after you defeat the first three or so waves, all you need to do is take all your anti-building units (rams, somatophylaz, and hetairoi) and 10 toxatai to defeat the enemey. I did not even know my units killed Thyestes. |||accidental repeated post
