give to the needy

I am puzzled.

In this quest I am attributing wood stone etc...to my three allies. I seem to be charged 100% to do this for example I give 100 stone and it costs me 200 stone. I know you pay a fee but 100%! PLUS in some cases the gold, stone, food and wood is being taken from me yet it does not seem to increase my allies’ figures!

What am I missing? Many thanks

|||Yes, without techs, you have to pay 100% overhead on tribute. I have not seen any cases where tribute does not get through - perhaps you are ignoring the 100% cost of sending tribute when you are calculating?|||

Something I have done in the past is I sent resources to the wrong allies - if that is the case, the numbers won't show and you have to tribute the correct ally again.
