We Killed These Guys Already?

I've done this quest a couple times and somehow the computer magically has age 3 units at the beginning of the game. I tried rushing and get murdered... anyone have suggestions?

I tried defending myself until age 4, so I could get superior units, but the computer stays on you like white on rice.

Rushing won't work. Mainly because they start off with a few elite units and if your units aren't upgraded, they will die easily to the units from the AI.Fend off the early two rushes with spearmen/hypas or just let them run around in circles around your towers following your scout. Basically after that, all you need to do is mass toxotes and hit and run if you have speed on your toxotes plus a nice range.

Kokosbloem had a nice video with him solo'ing this quest on elite but somehow it got taken down. There's another thread discussing the same quest over here:

Especially on Elite.

I'm having a lot of fun with it. It would be more fun though it the hard part came from a smarter AI instead of constant pressure from huge armies.

My recommendation isfirst defence and then attack with splashes.

I built walls and houses around guard towers as soon as possible if resources are ready.

Workers are working on relatively remote resources for safety, closer to town hall harder to save them or gathering slow.

Anyhow you candefend your area with wall and house, of course with range attack units and guard towers.

You have to accumulate splash unit like balista, 5 or more balista with some other units you can easily wipe out enermies.

Recommended attack force: 5+ balista, 30+ worker(I mean a most villager), 5+ priest <== your army will be getting bigger, actually villagers are very attractive to enermy units, your priest are happy with that.

|||Has anyone beat this in Elite mode? It is hard enough to get it standard mode but I can't figure out any way to get even close in Elite mode...|||

meokazi, dont try to do this quest in elite (solo) when u arent lvl40 yet. just go lvl40, get some epic gear (from shops in players cities), and spam toxotes (if you have speed boots, use them on tox!)
