Losing your religion

Has anyone got any advice for this quest? I can't even get through the enemy base in the 20 mins let alone get the resources to age up to age 4 seeming as I am playingEgyptians!

|||Work on your production if you can't get to age 4 in 20 minutes... I did it as Egyptian. You Don't have to go through the enemy base just send a settler over to build a harbor on the far West and you can use that as your forward base. You'll want to build walls and a tower or two but they probably won't bother you. Then you just send a priest to each island, convert the tower and then the temple.|||One word. Marketplace. Build one and you can get to age 4 on a free account in 6 minutes or under.|||

And there was me thinking that quest was easy, it hasn't proven a problem with either the Greeks or Egyptians.

I usually sneak down the left side(after taking water control), the enemy won't even move to attack despite being on his island.

Getting to Age 4 is easy enough, if you're controlling the water it's not like you have anything to spend those resources on.

TIP: Helps to have a fort right on the coast, else you may find your docks going down before you have time to build boats. I don't have fireships, with fireships it's probably possible without the extra fort.

|||Ah that's helpful. It isn't getting to Age 4 that is the issue it is more of the age 4 and getting through the base. I was thinking I had no chance of sneaking around but seemingly it is possible. I know during the Beta it was 45 minutes which would have made it about 1000x easier!|||

yeah I got thrown off by the fact I thought the enemy was one land mass and the temples was buried up in their city, was I in for a surprise.

Its on the other side of the map across another body of water, all you really need is your priest and a few fire and ballistic ships to take out the boats and towers. Its quite easy to do.
