What are these things good for? I have 8 shops producing materials, but I have accumulated so much that I just vendor them.
Even when I didnt have a prem civ, 2 shops + quests produced way more starter mats
Recipes seem dreadfully lacking, and even if I had some, there is no way the demand would match the supply.
Try buying the uncommon material recipes, and find the rare \ epics to build even better upgrades and boosts.
To build the advanced workshops you need the uncommon materials. The common materials are used to make decorations. But to make the Parthenon i think that requires Rare materials (i could be wrong).
I have 8 workshops 5 pumping out the uncommon materials now to fill the next wave of expansion and 3 making common stuff to vendor trash and decorate my city.
