In Dire Need of Help with Egyptian Quest

[:1]

Dear All:

I've been playing this game since it came live on August 16th. I now find myself in slight trouble with the "Help the Generals" quest. With one General, I'm supposed to send the Badari out into the desert but every time I try, I get my butt handed back to me on a silver platter

What am I doing wrong here?

On a side note, does anyone know when it's a good time to work any of the quests in Crete? I tried yesterday, and I couldn't find anyway to get started.

Any ideas, vague notions, brainstorms will be entertained here.

Sincerely yours always,

Indy.

|||If you're having trouble with sandstorm, I won by building wall and triemes. If you're talking about any other quest then could you please clarify which one.|||

Stalker:

In Egypt, I've been sent to help two Generals. One wants me to to defeat the Badaris with the troops which, compared to said Badaris, aren't much. Every time I try to do what the General tells to do, I keep getting my butt handed back to me on a platter. I've got my scout and, at least, three or four lines of troops. Would it be possible to do a co-op on this one?

That ain't much.

Sincerely yours always,

Indy.

to put it simply try these:

Normal quests :

lvl 1-10 = 50 Slingers and 50 Axeman with 40 villagers is more than enough for these lvls

lvl 11-15 = Slingers and Camels/Chariots and War Elephants if you got them already

lvl 15-20 = Age 3 ASAP pump out Chariots and War Elephants. Some Siege Towers if you like to throw those in

Difficult Challenge Quests:

lvl 1-10 = Turtle with Max Age Towers and Max Age Walls

lvl 10-15 = Age 3 ASAP pump out Chariots and War Elephants when you need to take out enemy bases

that should take care of all quests until lvl 20 that don't have requirements (such as water quests need boats and siege quests need siege units) for the first 20 levels. I'm at lvl 15 and above works very well for me.
