Whats the strategy to completing this challenge?

Dont recall the name, I think its something for a cousin.

But the plan is to make 8 trimenes and 1 transport ship in 6 mins.

You start out with 3 villagers, 200 food, 200 wood, 200 gold I think it is. Your in age 1.

I have never figured out how to do it, I tried several strategies of farming nothing but food at first to gain a villager population, that didnt work, I tried a more balanced method of putting most villagers on wood, 1 or 2 on food to keep the population coming, 1 or 2 on gold, that seemed to be the worst method.

I tried no food and just straight up wood farming, it dont work, nothing can be neglected, yet if you choose to try and get all the resources needed to build not only a temple to reach age 2, you need a dock, possible 2 docks or more which is yet more wood, by the time you complete that, you down to about 3 mins of struggling to get resources required to BEGIN building, trimenes dont build very fast either, needless to say the best I could do in the entire 6 mins I think was 5 trimenes, might of been 6.

The earlier quest before that I think was a 8 min quest time limit to do the same thing, I think I had mere seconds to spare on that challenge as well.

is this challenge even possible?

no I mean the animals as thats the fastest food resource their is.

Berries being slowest way to do it, farms cost wood so thats out of the question.

|||I rephrase this, you have to do it in 7 mins, not 6.

A few pointers:

- Start with all your villagers on the berry patch close to your TC.

- Do the berry upgrade.

- Put the newly produced villagers on wood and a few on gold.

- Age up when you have around 15 population and move all the berry villagers to wood/gold.

- Build additional houses to prevent getting housed.

- As soon as you're age 2 go double dock. If you have more than enough wood, go triple dock instead.

- Build a merchant boat and the triremes.

Is the greek one different from the Egypt one?

I noticed in that video you started off with 3 houses, the quest I am doing I dont even think it has that, its just a TC.

It shouldn't be. The quest is from the shared region Argos, which both Greeks and Egypt can access.

The video is a walkthrough for the quest you mentioned in the beta build. Many quests has been revised since then and that may explain the changes.
